In 1990, In a Pinch was founded by Betsy Watson, a New Jersey mother of two, who decided to return to work after a six-year sabbatical. This made her keenly aware of the need for quality professional in-home care for her children. Now, the In a Pinch service covers a wide geographic area with hundreds of caregivers providing quality in-home care. The service was designed from a mother's eye view of what is needed from a referral agency. Betsy understands your needs because she shares them.
Our placement consultants are professional counselors. Betsy and Karen are committed to matching the needs of your family with the experience of our registered caregivers. Though we are not a permanent placement service, we do strive for continuity with our caregivers. Our clients are always encouraged to request a favored caregiver. To help ensure the success of these requests for continuity, we have developed a specialized software program which tracks and schedules clients' needs and matches them with our registered caregivers' experience. This assures that you and your families are always matched with caregivers best suited to the needs of your household.
